About Us:

    As a person who loves celebrations, you would think becoming an event planner would have been a “no-brainer” for me.  But after college, I spent 13 years in corporate America in the banking industry.  I eventually snapped out of my comfort zone and decided to pursue my passion in event planning.  I have planned events for family, friends, and co-workers for what seems like forever; however, I realized my love for weddings several years ago.  Knowing I needed training in order to become a professional planner, I started out by shadowing a wedding consultant for two years, and I completed the Wedding Coordinator certificate program at Georgia Perimeter College.  In 2006, I spread my wings and opened Dreamaker Events.  Since then I have realized how much I love LOVE.  Regardless of how many weddings we coordinate each year, every wedding is genuinely special because each couple’s expression of love is unique.  There is such a joy in helping couples celebrate the reasons they fell in love. 

   Well there is no way in the world I could ever coordinate a wedding all by myself (and for any bride who thinks she can, I know you are having second thoughts or else you would not be reading this...it’s ok, call me).  I have the world’s greatest coordinators who assist me on the wedding day.  Ki and Greta are God-sent divas who work harder than anybody I know all while keeping a smile on their face and yours.  They have a selfless spirit and a willingness to serve in whatever capacity is needed to create the organized wedding day you deserve.  They are the wind beneath my wings (I know that sounds cliché but it is so true!).  And best of all, they love LOVE, too!  Together as a team, we have over 37 years experience in event planning.
