About Us
Planning a wedding can be such an exciting time! I share in your elation. As a bridal consultant, I have the opportunity to hear the wonderful love stories from the couples I meet. I feel it is just as important for you to know about your consultant, so here is a little background on how I went from dreams to Dreamaker.
Even before establishing Dreamaker Events, I was the type of person who loved celebrations. Birthdays, showers, weddings – you name it; they all evoke that let’s-have-a-party gene in me. However, after attending college, my goal was to enter corporate America and climb the corporate ladder (my background includes 13 years in the banking industry). While on the “ladder”, I would still plan private parties, as well as corporate functions. Eventually, I began to question if I was operating in my full potential. I then took the first step in pursuing my passion in wedding planning by getting formal training. I began by serving as an assistant coordinator for 2 years, shadowing a bridal consultant and assisting with a wide range of wedding day activities. In 2005, I graduated from Georgia Perimeter College’s Wedding Coordinator Certificate Program. Equipped with skills, training, and an innate zeal for celebrating life, Dreamaker Events was formed.
